Analysis of "A Ton Of Love" by Editors
They were a lot of extreme close ups used, they had a lot of fast editing. The fact they used black and white signifies something in performance based music videos which is good as it attracts more attention from the audience because it's something different which has worked well. Also the close ups on the equipment and the band singers which is what you would normally see in a performance based music videos and this contrasts what you would normally see in these types of music videos. But they used a lot of extreme close ups which is again different but has ended up working well as it goes well with the flow of the song.

Analysis of "Here It Goes Again" by OK Go
Not a single edit was done in this video.
This video is unique because this music video is without any editing involved, so they filmed this video all in one shot and the choreography of the band on the treadmill is absolutely amazing. Is it very difficult to do and to do it one shot shot so perfect is truly incredible. The way the video wasn't edited at all makes it that much more exciting to watch and impressive to see and I was engaged throughout the whole video. I liked this video a lot because of that.
This music video challenges the forms and conventions of a pop music video, this music video has no editing what so ever which is not seen in any music videos despite the genre. There is also no lip singing which is not seen either which contributes the videos uniqueness.

Analysis of "People Help The People" by Cherry Ghost
What I expected to see after watching and listening to the lyrics of the song:
In this video, my attempts of expecting what's going to happen was better than before because I believe I got expectations right than before such (1) dark colours or black and white. The whole video was in black and white and the reason expected to be in black and white is because when listening to the lyrics, the song was not up beat and was really quite depressing as the tempo was not fast pace. My next expectation which was correct was the (2) filming in run down streets part. In the video they weren't really run down like I expected but they were dirty and gritty. (3) Close ups was used a lot in this video along with panning shots from left to right. I can see why it was used as it brings the people in the video more engaged with the audience to create a bit of tension. My last point was the last one which was (5) depressed atmosphere. As previously stated about the tempo of the song I had good feeling the atmosphere in the video was going to be quite down and depressing because it will link better with the lyrics of the song and will make the video better as it goes well together.
- Dark colours or black and white
- Filmed in run down streets
- Close ups
- A storyline of a main character
- Depressed atmosphere

Analysis of 'Ambitions' by Donkeyboy
5 things I expect to see in this video:
After watching the music video, some of my points were shown such as (1) close ups, (2) seeing the band in and out of the video in a variety of shots and (5) inspiring scenes. Although I believe my idea of the video was incorrect as I picture the video being about someone showing ambition to reach their dream. But I did like the idea of the video as it had a strong and inspiring message in the video which grabbed my attention and I enjoyed watching it because it set a emotional storyline which was really good because I as an audience was intrigued about these characters. Another thing I liked was how the tempo of the song was fast pace which brought the video to life and the song helped represent the video to be inspiring and emotional.

3 - Single/main character showing ambition with their story
